Case XX Knife Pattern
W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company, one of America’s foremost manufacturers of premium knives, has unveiled that it will be reviving the Barlow after years of being locked away inside the Case XX® Vault. The Case® Barlow, a traditional favorite, will be previewed to the public at the 2019 SHOT Show, taking place in Las Vegas from January 22 – 25.
This Jack Knife pattern dates back to 18th century England, and the popularity it enjoyed overseas as a hard-working and affordable tool option eventually brought it to the United States during the mid-tolate 19th century. Its design meant that individuals from all walks of life could enjoy the diversity and utility of the Barlow, no matter the trade or occupation. The pattern has remained a historic favorite among today’s traditional knife enthusiasts.
